Another week

Its been another week and I've lost another pound.  I'm almost down to goal so here's hoping.  Work's been busy and crazy so I'm very thankful that my diet includes a little chocolate, otherwise I wouldn't make it.

I wanted to lose weight without losing control

My name is Sara and I have always carried around an extra 20 pounds.  I spent most of life on fad diets and crash diets and try and exercise more diets.  For a long time nothing worked and while I'm tall so I don't look awful- I have always felt gross about the way I looked.  Then I found a diet that did work- but it turned out to be a very unhealthy plan.  After my husband left me and I felt like my life was completely spinning out of control -I started counting calories.  With a busy schedule and a four year old- there was no time for exercise- I cut 500 calories a day out of my diet- at first.  It became a game- the one thing in my life I had complete control over and I started to see how many calories I could cut in a day.  This went on for weeks.  I got very skinny- I got unhealthy skinny and just as when I was overweight- I felt gross about the way I looked.  And I still felt fat.

It took a lot to break that cycle and the intervention of my family, but I moved past it about a year and a half ago.  But then the weight returned.  I was about 15 pounds over weight again and my daughter started to tell me I was fat.  In her now 7 year old innocent way.

With a prior of history of anorexia any time I mention weight loss my family goes berserk- so I started looking online for a program I could follow without getting busted by the interventionists.  I found a web site that sells random online self help books.  It didn't cost much and I like the freedom of being able to access the plans and help without my family interfering.

This diet doesn't involve calories, it instead provides milestones and incentives to let you know you are on the right track.  It not only helps you lose weight without the starvation and too much salad, but it also helps you get a more realistic view of what a body should look like.  Since starting the program three weeks ago I have lost 5 pounds and I realize that I am ok.  My weight isn't ideal but I'm working on that and I am not gross looking.

I was so excited about sharing this information and seeing my experience in writing that I forgot to provide any helpful information.
I found the e book The Elite Weight Loss Package- online at http://kimberleesspace.com/
